A bit about me: I have been a practicing White Witch for many years now, probably more than I should say here. Sometimes, I feel ancient, but in a good way! :-)

I love the Craft and Live the Craft daily. I have been discovering new ways to keep the old ways alive. Over time, I have been able to embrace the old ways and still use today’s conveniences, including things like coffee makers, blender and crock pots.

Now that I have a computer, I want to share what I have learned with others that also want the Magickal Life.

I have a Spell for new beginnings that I wish to share. It is important to note that it isn’t just the act of saying the words and putting together the items for the spell. It is more your emotion and awareness that will make a spell successful. You need to feel your energy and focus on what you want or wish to turn it into reality.

New Beginnings Spell

Materials you need:
One white candle - to envision all blocks or burdens melting away
Green Agate - to promote happiness, expansiveness and sociability
Small key - to open doors
Nutmeg - for luck
Rosemary - for longevity
Small packet of seeds (any will do) - for growth
6-inch square of pale green fabric (green for success)
2 inches of string - to cut away your burdens
2-4 inches of white ribbon (for purity) to bind your new beginning

Light the candle and visualize your new beginning, see in your mind's eye your success.

As the wax melts from the candle envision all blocks and burdens melting away.

Say:
Fresh and clean, with flame so pure,
My old life is now obscure.

Place each of the items onto the square pale green fabric. As you do note to yourself what they represent to you.

Say:
A brand new life, I start today
I seal my old life out - away.

Tie the white ribbon to create a pouch to bind your agreement of wanting a new beginning

Say:
I now embrace what comes to me
In growth and opportunity.

Let the candle burn down.

Carry the pouch on your person or in your purse or briefcase for the next week.
